We started Matcha Tomo because we wanted to share with our community something we genuinely love and enjoy: tea. But we also wanted to be thoughtful about how we shared it. While there are many great matcha offerings in Australia, we noticed that for many people, it can be difficult to understand what they're actually buying, what makes one matcha different from another, and how to choose one that fits their taste and purpose. We wanted to make understanding matcha clearer, more approachable, and more meaningful, beyond labels and trends.

That's why Matcha Tomo exists: to create connection, deepen appreciation, and help people experience matcha with more intention. Through guided tastings, workshops, and carefully selected tea, our hope is to help you find what you genuinely enjoy, while understanding the craft and care behind every cup.

In honour of the farmers and producers we work with, we also hope to bring more awareness to the journey from leaf to cup, so every moment feels appreciated, understood, and shared.
