MORI is a first-harvest, single-cultivar Yabukita matcha from Wazuka, Kyoto in the greater Uji region. Japan’s most popular cultivated tea cultivar, Yabukita is prized for its structure, clarity, and unmistakable depth. It delivers a full-bodied profile with layered umami and a firm, steady finish.
A versatile everyday matcha, MORI carries its intensity confidently through milk and other inclusions, maintaining presence and character in lattes without losing definition. At the same time, it can also be enjoyed traditionally as usucha: grounded, structured, and deeply satisfying.
MORI is sourced from a family-operated farm in Wazuka, where it is cultivated without pesticides or herbicides.
